Please note:In case of cancellation of services after the booking is made minimum 10% cancellation charges are applicable irrespective of mentioned cancellations slabs.
In case of special trains (e.g. Palace on wheels,Deccan Odyssey etc.) and high peak season bookings (20 Dec to 15 Jan) a separate cancellation policy is applicable (which would be advised as and when applicable)
Refunds:
In case of cancellation or non-utilizing of services for any reasons after commencement of services contracted,
no refund shall be made by us.We shall not bear any responsibility to refund for unused hotel accommodation,
chartered transportation,unused air/train tickets, missed meals, guides etc.
In case of cancellation in advance,refund amount for unused/unutilized services
(which have been paid for and cancelled in advance)would be worked out on the basis of cancellation policy as described
above and the money accordingly refunded to the person/entity who made the payment to us. Please note that the refund
process may take around a month due to banking procedures. Any bank charges relating to the refund would be deducted
from refund amount.
Our Liabilities &Limitations
Please note:In case after the finalization of the
tour/service cost, if there are any hikes in entrance fees of
monuments / museums, taxes, fuel prices or guide charges by the
Government of India, the same would be charged as extra.
Deccan Travel Corporation act only in the capacity of agent for
hotels, airlines, transporters, railways and contractors
providing other services, and all exchange orders, receipts,
contracts and tickets issued by us are issued subject to the
terms and conditions under which these services are provided by
them.
All itineraries are sample itineraries, meant to give you a
general idea of the likely tour schedule. Factors such as
weather, road conditions, physical fitness of the participants
etc. can dictate itinerary changes both, before the tour, or
during it. We reserve the right to change any schedule if we
feel it is required in the interest of your safety, comfort and
general well being. All hotel bookings are based on usual check
in and check out time of the hotels until unless indicated in
the itinerary.
Our prices are based on the prevailing rates as negotiated by us
with hotels, airlines etc. As hotels and airlines retain the
right to modify their rates without notice, in case of such
change's prices quoted by us before the modification, can be
revised by us according to the modifications by hotels and/or
airlines.
We shall not be responsible for any delays/changes in the
program or any expenses incurred, whether directly or
indirectly, due to natural hazards, flight/train cancellations,
sudden timetable changes, accident, breakdown of machinery or
equipments, breakdown of transport, weather, sickness,
landslides, earthquake, fire, political closures, strikes, riots
or any untoward incidents.
We shall not be responsible for any loss, injury or damage to
person, property, or otherwise in connection with any
accommodation, transportation or other services, resulting,
directly or indirectly, from any act of God, dangers, fire,
accident, breakdown in machinery or equipment, breakdown of
transport, wars, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, thefts,
pilferages, epidemics, medical reasons, Government regulations,
defaults, or any other causes beyond our control.
We do not have any insurance policy for our foreign clients.
We will not be held responsible for expenses for accident,
sickness, loss due to theft, or any other reasons.Visitors are strongly advised to seek all medical advice
and make all insurance arrangements in their home country/city
well in advance, and take all precautions necessary.
All baggage, personal property, and health at all times are at
the client's risk. For our Indian Clients we do provide Domestic
and International insurance for tour within India and international tours.
